On Saturday, GPI sponsored artist Anya Beaumont was at Muswell Hill Library showcasing on her Mapping Muswell Hill project for ‘Green is Good in Muswell Hill’.
The event, which drew crowds from the local community and beyond, proved a great opportunity for Anya to raise awareness about her project.
“It was a good day,” said Anya. “The map really draws people in and there was a steady trickle throughout the day. I talked to quite a lot of people about the project and I’m hopeful I’ll get some paper donations as a result. I also managed to do some actual work on the piece – my index finger is still slightly numb from cutting paper!”
You can see Anya’s work in progress at Muswell Hill Library until this Thursday. For more information on her paper project, check out
